Outline Activities
My main reserach fields are private international law, international civil litigation, and heritage law. Recent reserach includes international enforcement of intellectual property right and litigation and economic analysis of conflict of laws. I served also as a member of experts group to draft Convention for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage and of Japanese Delegation and Convention for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expression. I am currently serving as a member of Intergovernmental Committee of the Intangible Heritage Convention to draft its Operational Directives.
As for teaching activities, I hold seminar and lecture on Private International Law for law school, International Civil Litigation for LL.M course (in English), tutorial seminar for graduate students.

As for teaching activities, I hold seminar and lecture on Private International Law for law school, International Civil Litigation for LL.M course (in English), tutorial seminar for graduate students. Due to time constrain, unfortunately I could not accept any invitation for teaching at other institutions in Japan and abroad.
