Applications of superconductivity to prospective systems of energy transforming and information processing will be based on creative scientific efforts and the accumulation of innovative technology. For the basic science and the near-future application of superconductors, research & education in our laboratory covers basic phenomena and new concepts in superconductors, improvements in electromagnetic properties of superconducting wires and films, and applications to superconductive devices and systems with cooperative relation to the Research Institute of Superconductor Science and System. .

Studies in my laboratory cover evaluation of basic phenomena of superconductors, improvements in electromagnetic properties of superconducting wires and films, reliability of superconductive devices and systems, and so on. These studies aims at a role of the keystone in the near-future applications.
