Masanobu KANEKO, Fourier coefficients and singular moduli of modular functions, Modular Forms are everywhere, 2017.05, The generating function of traces of singular moduli of the modular j-invariant becomes a modular form of weight 3/2. This is Don's celebrated discovery, inspired by a work of R. Borcherds. Using this modular form, one can obtain a formula for the Fourier coefficients of the modular j-invariant in terms of singular moduli. In this talk, I shall review these works, and introduce recent developments regarding an application of the formula (due to R. Murty and K. Sampath) as well as generalizations (due to T. Matsusaka). .

34. 金子 昌信, 楕円モジュラーj-関数—三幅対の夢, 日本応用数理学会 2016年 年会, 2016.09, 楕円モジュラー -関数はモジュラー関数の中でも最も基本的な関数である. これについて,虚数乗法論,そして Monstrous Moonshine という大きな理論が知られている. それらをおおざっぱに,それぞれ -関数の虚二次点,無限遠点での振る舞いに関して何かを言う理論だと思うとすると,もう一つ,実二次点での振る舞いはどうかというのが気になる. これらについて筆者が20年来行ってきたささやかな研究,空想についてお話ししたいと思う..
