Field of Specialization
Coordination chemistry, Inorganic chemistry, Metallophthalocyanine chemistry
Outline Activities
Research and education have been started at the chemistry department of college of general education in 1993 (Dept. of Chem., Fac. of Sci. (Ropponmatsu campus) after 1994).
Research field is coordination chemistry: synthesis, structure, physicochemical properties, and functions of transition metal complexes. Main reserach subject is the synthesis and electrochemistry of metal complexes of phthalocyanines which are functional pigment material.
Lectures on basic chemistry and general chemistry have been carried out in general eduation field. In bachelor and graduate courses, lectures, practice of experiments, and guidance for degree thesis on inorganic chemistry and coordination chemistry have been performed.
