Current and Past Project
- TEMDEC (TElemedical DEvelopment Center of Asia) was established in Kyushu University Hospital, Japan in 2008, to establish an advanced medical network in Asia-Pacific region using super broadband Internet. We will dedicate to facilitate medical information exchange beyond geographical borders for ultimate benefits to patients and happiness of people in the world. TEMDEC is now the secretariat of Medical WG of Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN).
- We are developing a Japanese model of disease management for life style-related diseases as diabetes mellitus. We developed outcome-oriented clinical pathways by refining clinical guideline of diseases, and have conducted a verification study using an outbound call center. We are aiming seemless management from primary to tertiary prevention of diseases in Japan. We are also conducting a experiment to analyse life-logs gathering by a body area sensor networking.
