Current and Past Project
  • The increase of usability of active noise control and active impedance control technologies, by applying these technologies to a sub-scale test engine, are the objectives of this joint research.
  • Preliminary investigation of optimal microphone arrangements in the acoustic mode measurement of an axial fan, by using the transient simulation data.
  • Large eddy simulations (LES) of flows around a centrifugal compressor that is used in a automobile turbocharger, to improve the prediction capability of the aerodynamic performance over the conventional Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes simulations (RANS).
  • Experimental and numerical investigations of small and negative flows around a centrifugal compressor that is used in a automobile turbocharger, to establish a prediction model of the surge.
