Field of Specialization
Gastroenterology
Outline Activities
Research: I am studying mechanisms of inflammatory bowel diseases, such as ulcerative colitis and Crohns disease, from mucosal immunological stand point, and trying to utilize such outcome to establish new therapies for those diseases.
Education: I give lectures on gastroenterology to medical students and instruct madical students in clinical training. I teach gastroenterological endoscopy and radiology to young doctors.
Social activity: I give seminars on diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease to citizens.

Educational
Educational Activities
I give lectures on "esophageal diseases" and "gastroduodenal tumors" to medical students in the third year. I give a lecture on "methods of physical examination of abdomen and extremities" to medical students in the fourth year. I am an examiner of tests for physical examination of abdomen for medical students in the fourth year. I instruct medical students in the fourth and fifth years in the clinical training.
