Outline Activities
Research
My research fields are urban planning and urban design. In particular, I study about digital tools for supporting urban design and planning, which are GIS(Geographical Information System), VR(Virtual Realty) and Internet. In late years I deal with the study of sustainable city. My research themes in recent years are as follows.
1) Research on the Compact City in Japan
2) Collaborative Planning by using IT Technology
3) Spatial analysis of a city crime
4) Public space design and human activities
Education
The subjects of charge are as follows.
Sustainable Urban Design and Digital Media, Sustainable Design Camp, Urban Design Studio, Urban Design Seminar I, Design and Digital Media, Architectural Design Fundamental Practice, and Urban & Architecture Design Studio.
Social activities
I participate in some the committees and the open symposiums of local governments.

Educational
Educational Activities
The lectures of graduate school are as follows : Sustaionable Urban Design and Digetal Media, Sustaionable Design Camp, Urban Design Studio, and Urban Design Seminar.
In the lecture of "Sustaionable Urban Design and Digetal Media", I talk about the sustainable urban design by referring the case study of urban development in UK, and teach the role of the newest information technology for supporting the sustainable urban design and planning. In "Sustaionable Design Camp" and "urban design studio", I teach the method of a city understanding, investigation and design.
On the other hand, The lectures of undergraduate school are as follows : "Spatial Design and Media" and "Urban & Architecture Design Studio."
