KAPSEL means Kyoto Advanced Particle Simulator for Electrohydrodynamics. It is designed to simulate motion of solid particles in complex fluids. KAPSEL enables us to simulate rheological properties of colloidal dispersions, electrophoresis of charged colloids, etc. .

Outline Activities
Current research is primarily in soft matters and soft-matter complexes, including polymer melts, polymer blends, composites, colloidal dispersions and more, from the point of view of condensed matter physics.
I am also interested in application to polymer processing and developments of new simulation schemes suitable for complex materials.
