Outline Activities
The core of my clinical research is developing new strategy for pancreatic cancer and islet cell carcinoma, and analysis of the clinical features for autoimmune pancreatitis and chronic pancreatitis. Also as a routine work, I am working on endoscopic therapy and diagnosis for the panceratobiliary diseases, using ERCP technique. At the lab, with graduate school student, we are investigating the protective effect of VIP (vasoactive intestinal peptide) against pancreatic damage.
Research
Research Interests
  • Vasoactive intestinal peptide reduces oxidative stress in pancreatic acinar cells through the inhibition of NADPH oxidase.
keyword : acute pancreatitis, exacerbation, oxidative stress
    2011.04~2012.03.
  • Analysis of the involvement of oxidative stress on severe acute pancreatitis and Evaluation of the therapeutic effect of vasoactive intestinal peptideVIP
keyword : acute pancreatitis, exacerbation, oxidative stress
    2009.04~2011.03.
