Outline Activities
I have currently dedicated to work for two main projects. One project is to work for the secretariat of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations-Committee on Disaster Risk Management (WFEO-CDRM) which has contributed to the disaster risk reduction, related to potential damages of and risks to human life and livelihood through the proper applications of technology and engineering approaches. Another one is to develop flood models, which are applicable under future climate change. Note that my strong background was to study physical processes in limnology.

  • Understanding of hydraulic dynamics and development of an evaluation method for overflow at a bridge, which is damaged or functionally-distributed by driftwood.

Professional and Outreach Activities
I am working for the secretariat of World Federation of Engineering Organizations-Committee on Disaster Risk Management (WFEO-CDRM) which addresses issues relating to potential damage of and risks to human life and livelihood through the proper application of technology and engineering approaches. The disasters which are closely related to all aspects of human life, such as socio-economic activities and the environment should be considered in the CDRM scope of activities, and because there is a broad range of disasters, members of WFEO-CDRM are taking action based on interests, concerns and priorities..
