2017.03, From 2016 to 2017, we continued the seminar for the students about heat transfer and MEMS technology every two weeks. The seminar program is the same as the last year that one student reported the research progress and the other student introduced an English paper related to the research field. In this year, more students from other research topics are included in the seminar, such as MD simulation, soft material, laser scanning technique. The purpose is to expand the knowledge field of the students. The presentation is given basically in English, to practice the English communication skills of the students. The discussion can be given in English and Japanese. All the students are encouraged to join the discussion to improve their scientific research thinking and solve some research problems..

2015.03, From 2015 to 2016, we continued the English group discussion meeting every one or two weeks. In this discussion meeting, all the students related with the thermal measurement using MEMS sensor were asked to prepare an English research paper and do the presentation about the paper. After the presentation, all the students were organized to discuss about the paper and learn some new theories or experimental skills. The English communication skills of students were improved in the discussion. The students were also asked to report their research progress in the meeting and discuss together..

2014.07, From July of 2014, a new English group discussion meeting started every week.
