3. 稲垣 紫緒, The universal property of the radial distribution function of the many particle systems, the 3rd Research Area Meeting "Synergy of Fluctuation and Structure", 2016.06, In statistical mechanics, the radial distribution function, g(r), provides important information on the local structure (atomic positions) of liquids, gases, and amorphous solids. The radial distribution function can be a strong tool when the particles have identical radius because the dispersion of radii will broaden the shape of g(r). Then, the position of peaks and heights will no longer tell us about the local structure of the media. The aim of our study is to obtain local structural information of amorphous media, such as granular materials, from the positions of particles regardless of the dispersion of radii..
