My research activities primarily focus on space propulsion technologies (e.g., scramjet engine, combined cycle, electric propulsion systems) and multidisciplinary system design optimisation (for reusable launch systems, lunar transfer and deep-space missions etc.), aiming to realise future space transportation systems for reliable and economical access-to-space and space missions by thoroughly understanding physical phenomena and developing multidisciplinary frameworks combining advanced approaches including evolutionary algorithms and machine learning.
