In recent years, concerns are growing regarding climate change induced disasters associated with global warming. Approaches and efforts to reduce emissions of CO2, and to implement those through the collaborations with industry, government and academia are the motto of our research group. Developing technologies for climate change adaptation from the Geotechnical perspectives are the urgent need of the society, and our research is focused on those. On the other hand, the world has been experiencing large scale earthquake induced hazards or other natural hazards such as landslides and floods. Such natural hazards are too frequent in recent years. Developing research methodology, which incorporates and combines these two important aspects that the present day society is confronting (disaster mitigation and environmental protection), is, thus, one of the important goals of our research group. The research areas include field survey and testing, model testing and their simulations, element testing of natural and recycled materials, characterization of those materials, developing disaster mitigation system using drones, IoT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) etc. Aim of our research is to make us best prepared for the immediate and present dangers facing the global community through geo-disaster risk mitigation. To achieve that purpose, our research is aimed towards combining sustainability and innovation through cross-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary collaborations and creating a resilient society.

     More details

    本研究では、鋼管杭と斜め鋼材「斜め打ちパイル」を併用した道路盛土のハイブリッド型耐震補強対策工の提案し、その有効性を振動台模型実験および数値解析を用いて検討した。既存の鋼管杭のみを用いた盛土の補強対策に比べて提案した対策工の耐震性能が優れていることが明らかになった。

    2017.12   Indian Geotechnical Society(インド地盤工学会)   本研究では地震と津波に対して粘り強い防波堤の複合基礎構造を構築し,その性能評価が行われました。防波堤基礎を鋼矢板、蛇篭などで補強し、その補強効果を1g振動台実験、津波越流試験、遠心模型実験とそれらのシミュレーションにより検証されました。

    本プロジェクト研究では環境負荷低減型斜面災害対策の現場適用方法を追求することを目的とし、 7 月1 日に地盤工学を専門とする2 名の研究者を招待し、公開講演会を開催した。その後、公開講演会での知見を踏まえて、福岡県某所における動態観測データと昨年度実験した室内模型実験のデータとの比較・検証を行った。これらについては、非公開プログラムで研究討論を2 回行い、次年度以降もさらにモニタリングする現場を増やすことで、観測データの蓄積をしていく方針である。
    今年度の研究討論を通じて、豪雨により発生する斜面崩壊の前兆現象を早期に捉え、有用な早期警戒避難システム(EWS)を現場で実装するための方策を練り、社会実装のための課題を抽出し、行動計画を策定できた。研究成果については、2023 年11 月に福岡市で開催される第2 回環境に配慮した持続可能な建設技術に関する国際会議(CREST 2023)において発表する予定である。また、この行動計画については、2023 年度以降、引続き進めていく予定である。

    本研究の目的は、低コストで持続可能なセンサプラットフォーム(図1)を開発し、豪雨による斜面崩壊の前兆現象を早期に捉え、それらの有効な評価指標を提案するとともに、斜面崩壊の先行的で有用な情報を国・地方公共団体が保有するEWSに提供することである。それにより、異分野(情報科学と地盤工学)連携によるレジリエントな社会づくりの実現を目指すものである。
     本研究で提案するセンサ-プラットフォ-ムを適用することにより、斜面崩壊発生直前の前兆を検知する高精度な通信システムとなる。まず、室内で斜面の模型を作成し、通信システム(金谷, 2021年)から得られるデータを解析し、斜面の危険度評価を行った。図1に示すように、提案するIoTベースのEWSは、包括的なデータ保存と定量的な分析のための運用プラットフォ-ムを提供することを意図している。この図に示す土壌水分センサ-や間隙水圧センサ-などから収集したデータは、雨水の浸透度や地下水位の変化を判断するために活用した。そのため、数値計算モデルを開発し、それによる実験のシミュレーションを実施し、斜面崩壊の発現機構を解明した。また、実験中に、土粒子の移動を高速度カメラにより記録し、それらのPIV(Particle Image Velocimetry:粒子画像流速測定法)解析を行い、破壊メカニズムを明らかにした。さらに、開発したEWSの実証実験を実施し、通信システムの検証を行った。なお、本概要版では、室内実験の結果のみ報告する。

    2016年熊本地震以降、脆弱な高速道路盛土の緊急な耐震補強対策が求められている。また、被災が道路用地外におよんだ場合は追加用地買収が必要となり、災害復旧においてはこうした制約条件も解消しなければならない。盛土部における地震時のスペック強化として、鋼管杭・地盤改良などを用いた抑止対策工法が存在するが、これらの問題を解決するために、本研究はコスト縮減を目指し、盛土斜面に対する新しい耐震補強工法を提案するものである。

    本研究では、降雨により発生する 斜 面 崩 壊 の 持 続 可 能 な 防 止 対 策 と して、接触型と非接触型のモニタリングに基づいて、地盤工学と異分野の連携により盛土崩壊の様々な前兆現象を検出し、デジタルツインの活用により警報発出の精度を向上させ、最適なタイミングで 住民の避難 が 可能となる、低コスト の 早 期 警 報 シ ス テ ム ( Early Warning System: EWS)の構築を目的としている。
    国 内 で は 、 斜 面 崩 壊 を 監 視 す る シ ス テ ム は 、 既 に 多 数 運 用 さ れ て い るが、それらは、持続可能な早期警戒に対しては不十分な監視システムで
    ある。 さ ら に 、 そ れ ら の 動 作 に お い て は 良 好 な WiFi環 境 が 必 要 で あ る ため、高額であり、 W i F iの な い 山 間 地 で は 適 用 不 可 能 で あ る 。 多数の斜面や法面を有するわが 国 に お い て は 、 多 く の 箇 所 を 監 視 す る こ と は 、 財 政的に困難であることから、 WiFiに 依 存 しない サ ス テ ィ ナ ブ ル か つ 低コスト通信システムの開発と適用に本研究の大きな意義がある。

    本プロジェクト研究では環境負荷低減型斜面災害対策の現場適用方法を追求することを目的とし、 7 月1 日に地盤工学を専門とする2 名の研究者を招待し、公開講演会を開催した。その後、公開講演会での知見を踏まえて、福岡県某所における動態観測データと昨年度実験した室内模型実験のデータとの比較・検証を行った。これらについては、非公開プログラムで研究討論を2 回行い、次年度以降もさらにモニタリングする現場を増やすことで、観測データの蓄積をしていく方針である。
    今年度の研究討論を通じて、豪雨により発生する斜面崩壊の前兆現象を早期に捉え、有用な早期警戒避難システム(EWS)を現場で実装するための方策を練り、社会実装のための課題を抽出し、行動計画を策定できた。研究成果については、2023 年11 月に福岡市で開催される第2 回環境に配慮した持続可能な建設技術に関する国際会議(CREST 2023)において発表する予定である。また、この行動計画については、2023 年度以降、引続き進めていく予定である。

    本研究で、斜面防災のソフト対策として早期警報システムを開発した。まず、室内で斜面の模型を作成し、通信システムから得られるデータを解析し、斜面の豪雨時の危険度評価を行った。また、実験中に、土粒子の移動を高速度カメラにより記録し、それらの画像解析を行い、破壊メカニズムを明らかにした。さらに、降雨時の斜面内の局所安全率(Fs)の計算式を提案し、それを用いた解析結果より、斜面の崩壊に降雨強度および土の初期含水比の影響を明確にした。最後に、開発したEWSを検証するため、福岡県内で実証実験を実施し、本システムによる継続的なデータ通信が可能であることが確認できた。

    本研究では、地盤特性を考慮した室内土質試験、模型実験および数値シミュレーションを通じて、内陸直下型地震における低勾配地盤のすべりの脆弱性のメカニズムを解明し、流動距離の評価方法を確立する。研究の目的は、①2018年にインドネシア・スラウェシ島中部の内陸直下型地震(Mw7.5)によってPalu市内の数ヶ所で発生した緩い傾斜地盤の長距離流動化現象に着目し、その原因を地質構造と地盤特性の両面から究明し、②世界の類似の地域で、同規模の地震により、同様の被害が引き起こされる危険性の評価を行い、③それらの結果に基づき、我が国で似たような被害が発生する可能性の高い地域を洗い出し、当該地域の地震防災対策を提案することである。

    九州地方では2016年に熊本地震に見舞われ、高速道路をはじめ各種社会資本に重大な被害がおよんだ。今回の地震で特筆すべきは、前震、本震といった2度の地震動が発生したことと、熊本阿蘇地域は軟質な火山性地盤が大部分を占めることから、盛土の変状、液状化、および斜面災害など様々なタイプの災害が数多く発生したことである。そこで、本研究は、この熊本地域に着目した。1年間の研究期間内に、現地調査および現地で採取したサンプルに対し室内土質試験を実施した。また、補強対策工を施した模型を作成し、振動台模型実験を行った。

     2022年7月1日(金)、九州大学博多駅オフィス会議室+オンラインのハイブリッド形式にて、、第4回講演会を開催しました。本講演会は九州大学マス・フォア・インダストリ研究所と共催で、「環境負荷低減型斜面災害対策の現場適用方法の検討」をテーマとしました。
     東京電機大学名誉教授の安田進先生には「2021年に熱海で発生した泥流被害」と題して、昨年7月に熱海市伊豆山で発生した泥流災害の発生機構について解説していただき、今後起こり得る土砂災害にどう備え、どう被害を低減していくべきかといった防災対策についてご教授いただきました。
     東京都市大学建築都市デザイン学部教授の末政直晃先生には「SDSおよびその周辺技術による新しい地盤調査法の提案」と題して、先生が開発されたSDS®及びその周辺技術の斜面調査への活用事例について解説いただきました。
     講演会には、国内外から57名の参加がありました。
