本研究は3つの柱をもって展開する。
１、昭和戦後期に教育会の存続を図り、「日本教育協会（後に日本連合教育会）」に1952年までに加盟した七都県の研究。長野・徳島・栃木・東京に加え、未解明に留まっている茨城・富山・滋賀の事例研究、GHQ「軍政部レポート」の翻訳、7都県相互および「廃止」府県との比較研 究などをすすめていく。
２、これまで以上に戦前期の都道府県・旧植民地教育会の研究推進を図る。植民地相互や「内地」教育会との比較分析を通じて、「帝国」日本にあまねく存在した教育会史像のさらなる解明を進める。
３、女性教員団体の研究も視野に含み、女性教員の視点から「教員の学び」に関する知見のすそ野を広げる。 -

「奉安殿」は、従来の教育学・歴史学研究では天皇制教育の象徴という一面的な評価がなされ、戦後はGHQの指令により「撤去」されたと論じられてきた。だが、現存している例が多数ある。申請者は奉安殿の建設が文部省の指示ではなく、各学校・地域が自主的・主体的に建設を推進した経緯に着目する。本研究では現存する奉安殿を調査し、その「扱い方」（建設・維持・残され方〉の分析を通して学校関係者・地域住民・企業の具体的な連携構造を明らかにし、天皇制教育とは別位相で展開した近現代日本の教育的営為の特質を戦前・戦後の連続性の中で解明する。

In this study, we have focused on the "teacher career system" that has continued from the mid-Meiji period to the present, and have sought to clarify its historical development and characteristics. There are four results.
First, we have promoted a new understanding of the Kyoikukai（education association). Second, we have conducted case studies on the dissolution and continuation of the Kyoikukai after the Pacific War. Third, we have encouraged presentations and contributions on the continuation of the Kyoikukai after the war, stimulating widespread discussion. Fourth, we have undertaken efforts to preserve materials, such as digitizing valuable Kyoikukai magazines and creating a catalogue of materials in the Kyoikukai's possession. -

This research focuses on the gymnastic teaching tool "Model gun" used in elementary schools in pre-war Japan, clarifying the specific structure of collaboration among schools, local residents, businesses (such as educational materials and tools), and the military. It examines the actual learning experiences of children in school education that developed under this collaboration. Specifically, the study reveals the development of policies from the Ministry of Education and various local governments concerning the military-style gymnastics in elementary schools, with a focus on wooden guns. It analyzes the training of teachers responsible for instructing military-style gymnastics, their perspectives and needs regarding the wooden guns, and elucidates the types, manufacturing, and sales of the wooden guns used. Furthermore, it details how the wooden guns were actually used in various situations, including their usage, maintenance, and storage methods.
