Research Interests
  • My research work encompasses the designs and preparations of materials for ferroelectrics and metal-free triplet-triplet annihilation (TTA)-based photon upconversion. I have also worked on projects related to photo-isomerizable materials having the potential application as molecular solar thermal (MOST) fuel.

Educational Activities
As an assistant professor of the Advanced Graduate Course on Molecular Systems for Devices and the Advanced Graduate da Vinci Course on Molecular Systems for Devices, my main task is to have regular weekly meetings (as known as Brainstorming) with my groups of students for discussing the research-related matters that needed to be overcome to accomplish their Group Research Proposal (a very important curriculum of our educational program).
On the other hand, as an assistant professor of the Kimizuka group, I am in charge of supervising the G30 experiments performed in the Kimizuka lab. In addition, I constantly have discussions with the students in the Kimizuka lab about their researches.
