Kiyonobu KASAMA, Kouki ZEN and Kiyoharu IWATAKI, High-Strengthening of Cement-Treated Clay by Mechanical Dehydration, Soils and Foundations, Vol.47, No.2, pp.171-184, 2007.05, [URL], 本論文では、従来の固化処理により発現する一軸圧縮強度を上回る超高強度化技術を開発することを目的として、文献調査より現状の固化処理による最大強度を調査するとともに、固化処理土の強度支配因子を高強度化の観点から考察した。また、固化処理土の基本的な高圧脱水特性を明確にすることを目的として、固化材添加率を変化させた固化処理土を対象に定ひずみ圧密試験を行った。さらに、固化材混合および高圧機械脱水して作製した供試体の含水比の均質性、強度特性および耐久性を明らかにした。得られた結論をまとめると以下のようになる。
(1) 文献調査より、固化材等を混合した直後、高圧で機械脱水する機構が超高強度化に有効であることが判明した。 (2) 固化処理土の高圧脱水特性は、固化材添加率と定ひずみ速度に大きく影響する。つまり、粘性土の脱水特性は、固化材添加率を増加することで改善できる。(3) 「固化材混合および高圧機械脱水」という手法を用いて、最大で26MPaの一軸圧縮強度を有する固化処理土を作製することができた。また、作製した供試体は、湿潤条件と水中条件において十分な耐久性も有している。.
