Profile
My research interests lie at the intersection of gender studies and Asian area studies, with a specific focus on Japan and China. My past research focused on the adjudication of wartime sexual violence, and as an extension of that study, I am investigating the collective memory of victims of sexual violence. Meanwhile, I am also engaged in a separate project exploring the history and representation of sanitary products.
