I am working with Professor Don Favareau (University of Singapore) on a documentary film entitled: The Semiotic Worldview.

Students from two of Painter's classes combined to give an English language poster session to a public, international audience.

As part of teaching my G30 course on "Intercultural Communication," I did a practicum on the fast-growing sport of disc golf. Students then participated in playing disc golf under my instruction outside the classroom, and there was such a positive response to this activity that I have decided to start a Disc Golf Circle at Kyudai, with myself as academic organizer/advisor. This activity should grow in the next academic year.
