Profile
He was one of the founding members of the first dedicated international legal affairs department (International Legal Office (QILO)) at a Japanese university in 2011. The office is in charge of international legal affairs, including the review of various English-language contracts for international industry-academia collaboration and international exchange agreements, as well as compliance work, including security export control practices. In April 2019, QILO was reorganized into the Integrated Legal Office, which handles preventive, clinical, and strategic legal affairs.
