小胞体からゴルジ体を介して細胞膜などへといたる分泌経路は、タンパク質を目的地に仕分けて輸送するだけでなく、タンパク質の成熟にも重要な役割をもつ。分泌経路を構成するそれぞれのオルガネラがもつ特徴的な環境は、タンパク質の酸化的フォールディングやプロセシングにおいて、反応を有利に進めるためにあると考えられている。しかし、このようなタンパク質のフォールディングに寄与する細胞内環境を定量的に測定するためのツールがまだまだ不足しているため、その恒常性維持機構の理解は進んでいない。本研究では、タンパク質が辿る分泌経路内の環境を定量的かつ経時的に測定する技術基盤の構築から、恒常性維持機構の解明に迫る。
