I specialize in "testing (measurement/assessment) policies and systems. In particular, I am interested in the impact of the university admissions system on the high school-university connection system. I also apply my knowledge of educational measurement theory to my research as a tool to better understand testing. but his research focuses on sociological, historical, and institutional approaches. His recent research has focused on charting the trajectory of post-war college admissions from test data buried in historical sources. My main work is on "the quantitative historical sociology of the postwar college admissions system.
At the root of my research style is the fact that I don't simply dismiss "testing" in a blanket way. It stops thinking about "testing" and, above all, it keeps "testing" research from progressing, for better or worse. Some people think that testing stalls our understanding of it. So, once you've divided "tests" into two categories, even if they are realistically considered as a "necessary evil" in society, you can better to improve, change the system, or use it better. In addition, the research on "tests" is based on humanities subjects such as education, psychology, and sociology, and science subjects such as informatics and statistics.
In addition, the research on "testing" is conducted on humanities subjects such as pedagogy, psychology, and sociology, and science subjects such as informatics and statistics. It is an interdisciplinary area of specialization that integrates subjects, so you have some strength in numbers and an interest in a variety of things. This is a research area that is suitable for people like you. If you are not bored with the existing disciplines and want to try something that only you are doing It's a perfect field. I'm also interested in "test professional development" and for more information, see my discussion below Please.
