日本インド二国間国際共同研究

界面活性剤表面吸着膜の電気二重層構造を、主に全反射XAFS法を用いて、イオンの水和構造の観点から明らかにする。両国の研究者が互いの大学を一定期間訪問し、学術交流を促進する。.

日本側研究者が見出した油／水界面吸着の一次相転移を、米側研究者が開発しNSLS(Brookhaven National Laboratory)に設置されている油／水界面X線散乱装置を用いて直接証明し、さらに界面構造を分子レベルで明らかにする。(2004年3月まで）.
引き続き共同研究を継続している。.
