Ozaki, Breeding of asparagus with anther culture by using relative species., XVth International Asparagus Symposium, 2022.06, アスパラガスでは、若茎の色や茎の太さなどの種内変異があるが、限定された系統での品種改良が行われていることから、草姿や生態型など多くの形質において変異の幅は限られている。ハマタマボウキはアスパラガスと近縁の日本固有種で、アスパラガスとは異なる草姿であり、海岸に自生していることから、abioticストレス耐性等を保持している可能性がある。ハマタマボウキはアスパラガスと交雑和合であり、両者の雑種個体も稔性をもつことから、本種を利用したアスパラガス育種の可能性が期待される。本研究では、アスパラガスとハマタマボウキのF1雑種系統の葯培養を行い、種間雑種由来の純系ホモ系統育成を試みた。異なる時期に採取した葯を供試し、培地へのアラビアガム添加が、カルス形成とシュート形成に与える影響について検討した。その結果、カルス形成率、シュート形成率ともにアラビアガム濃度間に有意差はなかったが、葯の採取時期によって反応性が異なり、3月に採取した葯よりも、4および6月に採取した葯の方がカルス形成率、シュート形成率が高くなる傾向にあった。葯培養によって得られた607個体の再分化植物体の雌雄性を判別した結果、4個体の雌性個体、8個体の超雄個体(YYYY)が認められた。雌性個体はいずれも二倍体、超雄性個体(1個体は枯死のため未調査)はいずれも四倍体であった。以上の結果から、アスパラガスと近縁種との種間雑種個体においても、葯培養による純系ホモ系統を育成できることが示され、今後のアスパラガスの変異拡大の可能性が示唆された。.
