10. This is an introduction of our approach in teaching Focusing and discussion of the process by Japanese qualitative research. The small group Focusing workshop was designed for Japanese university students and graduate students who were all beginners for Focusing. The result of post-session questionnaires shows that the degree of the participants' satisfaction was high. Post-session feedbacks on survey was analyzed by the KJ-method, a qualitative approach developed by Kawakita in Japan, identified 4 groups of concepts associated with satisfaction including (1)an effect of the positive atmosphere and mutual relationship among members and staffs (2)the effect of getting Focusing as a skill or technique (3)positive feelings for workshop (4) the demand for the program of sessions. A hypothesis was developed that the warm positive atmosphere promoted studying Focusing, resulting in participants' positive feeling and their need for doing Focusing again. The warm positive atmosphere seems to correlate with some elements of the workshop : the structure of our program and staffs' attitude..
11. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between focusing and mental health.
