| 3. | 下村萌、＠平井康之、＠Kari-Hans Kommonen, Design issues for parenting support services in Japanese municipalities from the users' perspective , IASDR2021, 2021.12, This study aimed to clarify the issues that citizens have with the current parenting support services provided by the public sector in Japan. The challenge for this study was to integrate service design methods into childcare support services. Citizen-participatory design workshops were conducted to identify and evaluate the parenting support services provided by the public sector.未来の創造につながる新たなデザインである、ソサエタルデザインの実践と方法論の確立を目指し活動を行なった。 国際連携として、フィンランドのアールト大学と、ソサエタルデザインの研究を進めた。具体的には、子育てサービスをテーマに、福祉先進国であるフィンランドのネウボラと日本の行政サービスの関係をテーマに人材育成と研究を進めた。 その結果、福津市の市民と行政の双方向のサービスデザインのあり方について、2021年に子育て世代包括支援センターのオープンに合わせ子育てサービスマップをデザインし、キッズデザイン賞を受賞した件に加え、研究成果をIASDR国際学会でアールト大学Kari-Hans Kommonenと共同で発表を行った。この研究には、下村萌助教も参加しており、福津市のケーススタディも含めて共同で執筆を行った。18ページの査読付き論文である。. |

This paper explores the essence of culture reference design methodology based on three case studies focused on chairs, which are: China chair, Proust chair and Louis ghost chair which reference different historical cultural combinations of modern design methods. With the hypothesis of modern culture reference methodology focusing on culture reference resource as data input, design thinking was considered for data interaction, and simplicity, while symbolism, sustainable design as data output for methodology. Comparing this approach with problem-solving methods of traditional design methodology, the design by culture reference helped increase product value, meanwhile it helped in the adaptation to the humanity and technique development design methodology.. |

| 16. | Yan Gan,Yasuyuki Hirai, Culture Reference Product Design ---Case Study of Hans J.Wegner China Chair Design, Arts and Design Studies, Vol.59, P30-P37, 2017.06, Recent research shows that culture can be referenced as product design inspiration.This culture reference product design method can make cultural inheritance ,at the same time create new modern design value comparing with traditional function improving design method and bionics design approach. So this paper take one case study to explain this culture reference product design value by semantic evaluation in the point of users.The meaning of this research is to prove this design method has positive value judging by users,so in future, this culture reference product design method may be applied in wider range. The case study of this paper is Hans J.Wegner China chair. Author discusses how Hans J.Wegner referenced traditional Chinese chairs into modern chair design,meanwhile find out the value of this reference design method .The method in this paper is mainly on questionnaire investigation﹑semantic differential evaluation(SD)﹑SPSS statistical analysis. The results of this paper include three parts,one is the high possibility of Hans J.Wegner China chair referenced design method from traditional Chinese round-backed armchair .The second one is Hans J.Wegner China chair and five traditional Chinese chair have discrepancy evaluating factors in SD evaluation system , Hans J.Wegner China chair takes aesthetic factor as the first factor because of organic modernism design approach combing with the aesthetical essence of round-backed armchair,while the five traditional Chinese chairs’ first evaluating factor is emotion owning to the ancient Chinese feudal social hierarchy influence of chair symbol for ruling power. The final result is that Hans J.Wegner China chair has positive value in modern design evaluation criteria . With the study of Hans J.Wegner China chair’s culture referenced design ,we can summary that culture reference design is one progressive and valuable modern design method .. |
