博士課程・修士課程の大学院生および学部の卒業研究生に対する指導を行っている。学部の授業では国際イノベーション入門、国際オープンマインド入門、国際コースでは「図形科学」、「基礎製図」、「材料力学」などを担当している。
大学院の授業では国際コラボレーション特論を兼担している。研究室では，留学生，大学院研究生に対して個別の研究打合せ、実験の指導、ゼミおよび検討会を行っている。中国政府「国家建設高水平大学公派研究生項目」による共同養成研究生およびJSPS特別研究員の受入や研究指導を積極的に行い、国内外での学会発表を推奨している。
全学および部局のFDに参加し、教育改善及び教育方法の向上を図っている。
